Epipen procurement

This question may seem pretty benign but I think it fits well under the heading of "Disaster Preparedness".

I am an archaeologist.  My job requires me to dig holes in the ground in remote areas (far from help).  At least once a year someone on my crew puts their shovel through a hornet nest and gets badly stung.  I have tried many times to get Epipens included in our first aid kit but my boss tells me a prescription is required to acquire them.

Is there any way you know of for me to get ahold of some Epipens?
