Don't be too quick to believe she has Myasthenia Gravis. The drooping of the eyelids is often a sign of cranial nerve deterioration secondary to vitamin B-12 deficiency. The problem with B-12 is not that we don't get enough, but that the body orten cannot absord it. Sub-lingual B-12 with folic acid and orally the remainderof the B vitamins might help. Sometimes this nerve damage is due to high bloodpressure, clots, or even a complication of diabetes. Often, with B-12 supplementation, there is complete recovery.
