overdosed

I accidently took 25 units of novolog for my l0:00 shot instead of lantus. what could have happened and what should I have done after the fact? I ate alot of icecream and candybars until I threw that up! I ended up with a blood sugar reading of around 40 and a rapid heart beat. Please let me know asap.
