2 yr olds and divorce

Hello just wanted to know if there is research out there regarding the effects on divorce on a 2 yr old. My child is 2 yrs old and now parents going through divorce husband getting very angry and fighting over parenting time when he has never wanted it before. He has not been an involved parent and has no common sense, doesn't understand routine or how to take care of our child. Need help with finding great research out there as father fighting for 50% time and does not know how to take care of his child safely.

I know you posted this a long time ago, but wanted to see if you found anything. I have a little boy who will be 2 in March and my husband is moving out. I'm very worried about how he is going to handle this. My husband is good father, but has some skeletons (mainly he was addicted to prescription pain killers and went through in-patient rehap when our son was 9 months old). Once he got home he got very involved in our son's life, but he also works a lot so most of the care giving and discipline has been left to me. He wants to have equal custody and I am 100% against that.

Wish I had some advice for you. I just wanted to tell you that you aren't alone!
