Avoidance

I know that there are many more important issues in here than mine, but I would just like some insight in to a situation I've encountered. I was seeing this woman for about a month with every reason to believe that it was going somewhere. But, all of a sudden, she's been avoiding me for about a week now! Why do ppl play these games?

Your issues are as important as anyone else's.
Now, as for this woman that you've known for only a month... realize that a month is a very brief time to know anybody... and way too soon to formulate any sense of permanence. But, I do understand that strong emotional attachments can occur rather quickly. I'm guilty of doing that, myself!
Anyway, a week of not being available is too soon to assume that she's "playing games." Maybe, she has a different idea about going out and spending time together. Maybe, the relationship is moving too fast for her and she wants to slow things down a bit. What are her reasons for this sudden avoidance? Has she given you any indication as to where she would like to see the relationship go?
Now, if she's totally ignoring you and "blowing you off" then, she may have decided that she's no longer interested. But, if that's the case then what she owes you, at the very least, is an explanation... that would be the mature thing to do.
