Can my boyfriends ex wife legally prevent me from moving in?

I am planning on moving in with my boyfriend of a year.  He has full physical custody of his two boys.  His ex wife is saying that she can legally prevent me from moving into the house since she hasn't met me yet.  Is this truly the case?

No, she cannot do this unless she can prove that you are not fit to be around the children. She is grasping at straws, I wouldn't worry about this at all!

Putting my self in the situation of the x wife, and it were my children, I think the right thing to do is have the two parties meet at least. I mean, they are her children too and she has to know that you are not a drug addict or someone that will bring harm to her children. If you have been seeing him for a year, I find it curious that you have never met her. I do not see it as an unreasonable request on her part and wonder why her x sees it as unreasonable. I mean you will be having a huge role in her childrens life and it will effect them and not just him. I think a judge who is looking at the best interest of the children would not see the request as unreasonable. All she wants to do is meet you, she cannot keep you from moving in after that. So what is the big deal?

I just read I Hate His/Her Ex by Alex Cooper. You can get it on Amazon or other bookstores. It helped me to deal with so many issues that I had with my fiance’s ex - who I really hated!! Now, my relationship is perfect :) xxx

Actually you need to look at the divorce decree. My divorce decree clearly states that no one of the opposite sex that my ex husband is in a romantic relationship with can move in unless they are married. I mean i don't enforce it because we are both engaged to someone new but it can be done.
