I have an 8 yr old chocolate lab/chow mix.. He woke up today feeling normal as always or so I thought. About an hour or so ago he threw up white foam...There wasn't anything else in the puke. He's moving around as usual but just moving a little slower.. He went to the bathroom but had a hard time getting it all out.. He hasn't drank or ate anything since he got sick before ... I just want to know if it is something serious(life threatening) or if there is something I can do to help him at home..PLEASSE share your opinions. I NEED HELP PLEASE
Is he restless? Trying to throw up but can't, or only retching? Moving about a lot and won't settle? If so, he needs to see an emergency vet NOW!
Because those could be signs of a stomach torsion, where the stomach actually twists on itself and needs immediate veterinary help.
