8 year old dog in pain

We have an 8 year old black labrador / springer spaniel cross.  She (Pinto) started limping this week (Tuesday) and had swollen upper right leg.  We let her rest with ice for a day.  She seemed a lot better so I took her on her usual run with the bike later the next night. On friday she was yelping lots and obviously in pain.  We took her to the vet that afternoon.  The vet gave her an inti-inflammatory shot. The vet said it should last about 24 hours.  He thought she had a muscle sprain. Tonight she was shaking lots, until I put her blanket over her, and does not want to move.  (It is about 19 C in her bed).  She is not shaking now, but is breathing hard at times.  Normally when I go near her, she rolls onto her back to get her tummy rubbed but she does not do it now.
About 2 weeks ago we took her blueberry picking.  She did a lot of running around in the bush for a few hours those 2 days. While wandering in the bush she devoured rose hips (something we had never seen her eat before).
My question are: Could she be reacting from the rose hips so many weeks later?  (We forgot to mention about the rose hips when we saw the vet.)  Is this normal behaviour for a dog with muscle sprain?  (Pinto has never had problems like this before.)

Thank you.  We were talking about taking Pinto back to the vet.  She is still not feeling well.  She does not lift her head up like she used to, nor does she bark or run anymore.  She is walking a little bit better but still favours her left front leg a bit.  I figured out why Pinto does not bark. She always does a little jump when she barks.
It has been over two weeks since Pinto first showed signs of pain.  I miss my happy dog.

I would take her back to the vet. That doesn't seem normal to me.
