Your right Connie.....The BOTTLE is a much better idea at this point! Thanks for the suggestion.... What started out meek & mild has turned into something quite different...Interesting how things like that happen!  ;)  Merry Christmas to you & your family....Hugs to you, too!  Karla

Merry Christmas to each and every one of you...!  Like so many of you, I too will be raising a glass tomorrow. A very LARGE glass. Did I mention....a VERY LARGE glass....?  Ha...!  When I think about it, why use a glass, when the bottle will do...?
Warm Wishes to Tony, Karla,Ginger,Margot,Ghilly, and also to Jenn and TJ.
I hope each of you will have fond memories of those who are gone, and make new memories with those that are here.
May visions of Sugar Plums dance in your head.
Christmas Hugs to all...!

Merry Christmas to you and your family...Sounds like yours is going to be wild!!!!
That would be 16 paws to wipe off!!!! I too, hate the rain when it comes to muddy paws....I leave a shallow pan of water by my back door...Everyone gets a paw dip (And towel dry) on the way by!  ;)

Glad Lexie is spending her first w/you...I'm delighted for her.....I remember all too well, the pee-pee on the tree.....The worst was handing a gift to someone & realizing that the paper was discolored on the bottom.....To my horror, it was urine!!!  I never told the recipient, just grabbed the paper after the unwrap and discarded it immediately.....

I'm not smart enough for the x-pen! Yes, I have one....Never occurs to me to use it!  :(

Blessings to you this season & through out the Year......Karla

Tony, bless you, and yours, and warm greetings from me too.
And to Karla, Margot, TwoBitsMom, and all the people who keep this Dogs Help page still so very helpful.
And I too shall raise a glass to all our absent friends and loved ones....those who wore fur coats and those who didn't. May those who grieve be comforted.
God bless.
A very Happy and peaceful Christmas to everyone.

Hi Karla, and thanks for your kind words. I've been having a tough time of things recently, mainly due to a close relative with troubles of her own healthwise, so haven't been up to commenting on the forum (just wasn't in the right frame of mind). But I can't resist it .. so here I am again. Give Ginger a huge hug from me - and your new 1st Christmas foster a huge kiss. I'm sure they'll both keep you busy tomorrow.

We wrapped our surviving dog's presents yesterday and put them around the tree ... which is where Giro now spends most of his time, sniffing, prodding and poking ... and desperate to open them, despite us telling him he'll just have to wait until morning. Ha.

Hope you have a fab day - and here's to good tidings to one and all for 2013. Take care. Love, Tony xx

Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to all and Happy Birthday to Ginger!!
My kids are here so there are 2 big dogs and two Chihuahua mixes running around!  Poured rain yesterday so how many muddy feet is that have to be wiped off?  LOL
It is our little rescue Lexie's first Christmas with us, who knows where she was last year but she has a stocking up too.  After she snatched and destuffed a toy bear I put under the tree twice, the X-pen went across the livingroom doorway again!  I don't know why I go on blind faith they will leave it alone.
First Christmas our Greyhound, Ranger, was here he thought the tree had been brought in just for him to mark!  My daughter told me I should just string lights and decorate the x-pen.  :-)

Great group here!

Hope everyone remembers to watch their pets over the Holiday!!

Merry Christmas to you & yours, too!  I MISS you on this forum....Hope your Holidays are warm & wonderful.....I will be raising a glass with you...However, I will begin tonight with a birthday celebration of one of my own....A Toy poodle named "Ginger" turns 11 yrs. old today...Of course that's just a guess of her age, but she was adopted on Christmas Eve, so that's her designated B-Day......She has been here 8 yrs.....

We do have a new Foster Girl that will be spending her 1st Christmas here.....She's delightful, other than she has eaten all the ornaments on the lower part of the tree!!!!!  You can see her new "Santa" picture on my profile page under Photos.......

Let the Celebrations begin.....With Love to you,   Karla
