My dog has been on thyroxine for about 2 weeks now. I know she has to take pill twice a day, and now one in the morning at around 6am (first thing in the morning) and the other one at around 8pm. In the morning she waits for an hour for meal after taking the med. She eats second meal at around 5pm so she waits 3 hours and then takes med at 8pm.
Now I am wondering if it works to give her one after morning meal (not first thing in the morning when she wakes up) , that is to say, late morning like 10am or so and accordingly the other in the evening at around 10pm.
By doing so (if possible) I presume I could keep "12 hours in between" rule.
Is there anyone who gives one's dog med 3 hours after breakfast?
