Can anyone help diagnose my dog?
hello my dog is a golden retriever she is 5 years old she started gradually loosing hair and red spots were the hair is missing , i've taken her to many different vets and one said it could be flee's , mange, but i've tried all those treatments but nothing worked
Could it be hypothyroidism maybe, I was just reading about that, and hair loss is one of the signs.
As said before have a vet do skin scrapings and blood work.
What is the condition of the skin that is now exposed? Pink? Black?
This sounds like one of my foster dogs that had demodectic mange. The good news is DM is very treatable.
