I would just like to draw people's attention to the User Group CHRONIC KIDNEY FAILURE IN DOGS that operates on MedHelp. The group has only been going a short while, but it now has over 60 members, mostly that have or have had dogs with this devastating disease. hi just to update you. my dog to recap has enlarged heart n renal failure. i am close to winning battle of renal. but the water in lung seems to resurface.  kidney bun from 175 n creatinin from 2.7 is now normalized. my vet used alternative n western meds. she said its trial n error. n i found best combination. for renal i stick to the good quality protein diet of five leaf pet pharmacy i also use their meds. i complement this with homeo for her heart. five leaf has but it taste terrible n 2 horrible tasting meds is pitful n besides the homeo worked for friend ill give herb contents if needed. my vet combines this with azodyl a probiotic 2x day . its hard to get so i m forced to reduce 1x day till supply normalizes . when ahe didnt hv azodyl n we cheated on diet n had western meds vetmadine for heart bun n crea shot up  so vet said she cnt tell if azodyl or vetmadine but i believe its western med vetmadine. she has every other day liquid therapy the subq. it was daily while she was sick. i complement all of this with regular tumeric n ginger organic fresh home made tea to stop her nauseating...her problem now is the diet has made her calcium level low. ver gave western supplement . i will call pet leaf. if she has food alternative. no wed mat on this. i plan to document this so people can learn but vet did say its case to case.  she eats well always hungry but no cheating in diet but i noticed blood test okey even if we give apple cucumber watemelon which we heard is good. i do change the five leaf diet from egg to only white egg n white rice to brown.. i call them up to get suggestion. i also do reiki since my palm seems to emit warm energy.. n im diligent about hot cold compress. yes its costing lots of money but im praying that all these organic n mother love will help her. she has no highblood etc just large heart forcing watee which homeo can only help by increasing pumping. there is ashortage of axodyl cause dogs r getting renal failure. its all these processed in china dog food n vaccines. shes not allowed vaccines just flea bravo n not allowed to socialize. i hvnt vacationed but gratful we r suceeding

I have been trying to find group but can't using iPhone.  We hav a 5 year old Maltese with ckf.  At home infusion and probiotic   Please is there anything more to help me Barkley? He loves ice cream
