Dog acting strange

our dog has been hiding behind the furniture under the stands it's like she senses something but we can't figure out what my granddaughter is pregant we thought maybe that  but she mostly hides under the stands in my room not even around my granddaughter .What could this mean

Well I am not totally sure, but the first thought is that she is not feeling well. Dogs have an inbuilt instinct to not show it if they are feeling unwell (until they have no choice) She may not want you to see her if she feels unwell.
If I were you I would take her to the vet, get her checked out. To be more sure, you could get a full bloodwork done for her. Then if all turns up nothing, and she is really ok....then you will have to approach from another angle, and assume she has a behavioural issue.
