Two of my dogs got in a fight while I was away. While both are externally okay my oldest dog is shaking his head and acting strange. He has fluid in his ears and it looks bloody as well. Any idea what this could be? I am taking him to the vet tomorrow but thought it would help to know what it might be so I can comfort him.
It sounds like an ear infection for sure. I bet the vet will give some antibiotics, and maybe antibiotic ointment as well? Injuries can seem like very little sometimes (a scratch, even) but if they get infected can cause trouble like this.
Poor dog, I hope he is feeling a lot better soon.
