Dog travel to Mexico

From a health standpoint, is it OK to take a dog to Mexico.  He is 4 months old, fully vaccinated and we are staying in a condo on a private beach.

I honestly don't know but it would be a good question to ask your vet. There's the concern of picking up intestinal parasites and such if he drinks water there. And I wonder if there are laws restricting bringing pets over the border and back again.
