Dog vomiting after attacked by Rottie

My husband and I were out walking our 10 year old Sheltie dog last Sunday when a Roteweiller came up behind us and attacked our dog.
She has been at the Vets most of the week.  We just got her home today and she has vomited
approximately 10 times.
Apart from the 8 wounds on her small body, the Vet said that she may have developed an Ulcer from the trauma of the attack.
Has anyone experienced this before?  
Will my dog survive this attack?
It is so hard to see her like this.

Please call your vet's office - with such a small dog who is in such physical stress and who is vomiting so much she may be seriously dehydrated.

I agree with utah.  If your dog is vomiting so severely, she should be an in-patient with IV fluids and nausea meds.  Did they send you home with any meds for her?  At the very least I would think some pepcid or zantac should be on board if an ulcer is suspected.

she came home from the Vets with Cimetidine and Suralfate for the ulcers but were advised to start this morning.
Lucky vomited 3 times through the night.
she is drinking a bit of water but the amount of vomit is way more than she is taking in.
we will see how it goes today with the meds. we can't give her food
until the vomiting stops
