Dropping a puppy

Our 9 week old puppy fell to the floor from about 1 meter high (struggled out of my arms while I was reaching for the doorknob). The floor has a felt-carpet. The puppy yilped and ran to the other room, seemed scared but otherwise fine. I did not take her to the vet, 'cause she seemed ok. Now I started to worry. She sleeps alot, but I guess that is okay for a puppy that age. She eats ok and plays on the yard with the other dogs. No whining, normal urinating and poops. Am I just overworrying, because it was such a scare?

Thank you so much, this relieves the stress and guilt I've been suffering! She seems ok, playful and energetic when awake, eats well, drinks well and plays. I surely will keep an eye on her---such a scare!

I absolutely second that. It's normal for a puppy to sleep. The only telling thing is if she becomes unusually lethargic, when she normally has good energy, refuses to eat, throws up, doesn't want to get off her bed, etc...then take her immediately to the vet as those things could be signs of concussion.
I agree with seeana that if you are still uneasy about "keeping an eye on her", then you could take her to the vet to be checked over anyway, just to be on the safe side.

I think she sounds ok and at that age they are pretty loose. She will sleep a lot yes at that age.Keep an eye on her for the next couple of days. Her eyes should be bright really clear and alert when awake but if the slightest doubt better to be safe than sorry.
