Hmmm... I've never known dogs that do that, but I'm sure it happens. I do know it is important to do before puberty, so as to avoid adult male dog behavior altogether. A lot of dogs just go when they are nervous too (regardless of gender), like being in an unfamiliar or threatening place.
my baby boy was fixted and he never peed in his house but if he went to someone elsa house that had a dog he would mark his spot there /and many times at his vet he would do it to. i never had other animals in my house because of that reason didnt want him to think he had to mark up the house. not all do it but i know mine did to feel like it was his area.
Yea i have just been told that even if they are potty trained that they still tend to pee on things. Like sort of a sign to say that he owns the place. My friend has a male dog that is not fixed and he pees on anything that is left on the floor like bags clothes etc.
Do you mean they pee on things if you don't take them out to go? I know a lot of indoor male dogs (all neutered before puberty) and they don't pee inside once they've been potty-trained.
well not sure about that breed but , my boy shihztu would mark his and he was fixted , not sure how to stop it.
