Heart Murmur Grade 6

I just got a dog recently. She's a cocker spanial and only 4 months old. Few days ago, she was diagnosed with Heart Murmur Grade 6. What should I do? She's my first pet and I want her to live.

Beckie...this is a very serious situation. This is a severe heart murmur, especially given her age. Did the veterinarian say anything about congenital or hereditary defects?
