Help Please...

My dog is really weak and when he walks he acts like he dont know where hes going hes not eating nor drinking and when I just tried to help him up it look like he had blood on his private and seems to be leaking from the back I dont know whats wrong and dont know what to do???? He is English Springer and 12 years old...

Hello Jacklette........You have an EMERGENCY on your hands!!!!   There's nothing you can do at home for this guy....We on this forum cannot diagnose the problem, that would be impossible....CALL YOUR VET & get your dog in today......He sounds very ill & may be running out of time....Do not wait....Get him to a Vet, NOW!  Please, come back and let us know what happens....I hope it all turns out.....Remember, he is depending on you to get him the medical attention he needs.....Karla

Thank you guys so much I am trying to stay positive I have to wait 2 hours for a ride :/ gizmo finally drank some water but when he tries to pee he cant and I seen some blood in the urine I have to pray that this 2 hours go's by fast I will keep you all inform and thank your for the kind words we really need it...

Jacklette....Hopefully, this is a bladder or Urinary Tract Infection and can be treated fairly easy...... Again, hang in there....Your ride should be there before long & you will be able to get your Gizmo some help.....Do you have an appointment at your Vet? Well today was the hardest day we had to put down Gizmo he had a tumor and was very sick thank you all for your kind words I just dont think ill be able to get through this my heart is score R.I.P Gizmo Jackie Loves you baby you will never be forgotten...

Gizmo was a lucky dog to live his life with someone who loves him.
You gave Gizmo 12 wonderful years.

Hi Jackie. This is very sad news. I am so sorry for your loss. You did everything you could and despite it now being painful for you, you know Gizmo is no longer suffering. You WILL get through this, even though it may seem like you won't. Grief takes it's own time and eventually you will remember some of the fantasticly happy times you and Gizmo shared. You did the right thing in the end and helped him out of pain. My thoughts are with you. Tony
