Hiccups

My 2 1/2 yr old male beagle sometimes hiccups during breaths. Its almost like his stomach jumps between breaths like hiccups. He does it maybe twice a day. I read on another post to give him bean-o or gas-x. If i decide to go try this. How much dosage for a smaller dog like my beagle? And if possible can you tell me how do i expect to spend for vet treatment?
