My dog has parvo I took her to the Vet and he gave us some medicine for her but she vomits it out before it has a chance to work what should i do the doctor only gave us a 10 day supply and she has wasted 1 days worth do I keep giving the dose untill it goes down or wait the 12 hours the bottle says should i give her peptoPepto children's Pepto-bismol Pepto-bismol maximum strength to calm her stomach i dont know what to do any help would be very helpfull.
I would call your vet just to make sure. If they said peptoPepto children's Pepto-bismol Pepto-bismol maximum strength is okay, I would give her that, wait about 30 minutes than give her the mediction (medication). But you should definatlly call the vet to let them know. Parvo is very dehydrating and I am surprised they don't have her on IV fluids?
Thanks for your advice wound up that when I posted was the worst night the next morning she started drinking water on her own and today she started eating some baby food on her own so I think we are coming into the clearClear by design Clear eyes Clear eyes acr Clear eyes clr Clear-atadine Clear-atadine children's I will keep up with the meds untill they are gone as the doctor advised
Be sure you vaccinate your dog in the future. This is a 100% preventable disease. No dog should have to suffer through it. Many die from this and other preventable diseases.
