Is My Dog Ok?

I am EXTREMELY worried about my 6 week old Pug... She is acting weird, for example, I pored her food the other day and she got in the food and dug through it (as if looking for something) and didn't eat any of it... I picked up the food and put it back in the bowl & she did the same thing... She drinks a little bit , but not frequently, and she's usually a pig when it comes to food and drinks almost all her water... She's still fun, barks, howls, plays... Yes, she does sleep A LOT, but I figure thats normal since she's just a baby... Also, a yesturday, she was shaking on & off, but I KNOW she wasn't cold cuz we live in AZ and it's the middle of Spring! Now, she won't stop whining unless she's napping... I noticed a dew days ago, her nose is dry... I'm super scared, this is not normal and I don't know anything about dog sickness, I hope to God it's just a little stomach flu or something... But I need some help.. PLEASE somebody, ANYBODY, help me to figure out what's wrong with my Baby girl... I DON'T want it to be too late

I completely agree with both Karla and Margot.  If this puppy is only 6 weeks old NOW, and you have had her for a while already, she was taken away from her mother and her litter WAY too early.  This is the first huge red flag that went up about her so-called breeder.  If she was sold and removed from her litter that early it calls into question EVERYTHING that the breeder did with this breeding and subsequent whelping.  This puppy needs to go to a vet NOW and depending on the outcome of the vet visit she needs to be returned to the breeder and you should get a refund.  It is actually illegal to sell a puppy that young so if the breeder gives you a hard time you can take her to court to settle it.  I wouldn't worry about getting her in trouble, if these are her breeding practices she needs to be stopped anyway.

Well, I agree with Karla.  That is just to young to be away from the mother.  I never let my puppies go before 8 - 10 weeks of age and they had at least one shot if not 2 by then, and were wormed.  I do hope you are getting this puppy shots and are not taking it out anywhere until it is done with the full series of shots.
Try picking up some regular baby rice cereal in the box and pick up a can of goat's milk.  Mix the two until you have a mush like consistency and see if the puppy will eat that.  You can then add some good quality puppy kibble.  The best thing to do is put it in a blender and blend it until it is pretty fine. You can add this to the rice cereal and goat's milk also.
If the pup has not been to a Vet for an evaluation, you should take it it and get on a puppy plan recommended by your Vet.
Hope the puppy is doing better.

The shaking may be what is called "Hypoglycemia" which is low blood sugar from not eating....Your puppy may not can handle it's kibble...Is the kibble too large or small enough for a tiny mouth?

You might try to soak (In water) a little kibble....Make a mush and see if she can eat it this way....She needs some food......This will buy you some time till she can see a Vet.....

Hello & welcome......First of all, this puppy is too young to be away from it's mother.....That's my first clue that she came from a bad breeding practice....(And could have many things wrong with her).

Have you taken her to your Vet for a checkup, since you got her? You need to have her evaluated....Puppies can get very sick quickly and dehydration (From no food or water) can kill them even quicker...

I'm not trying to scare you, but she needs to see a Vet before she gets worse.....Please, make her an appointment ASAP.....Good luck and come back with what you find out....
