Just an update on my little man Bruizer!!!

Bruizer came home yesterday and has been doing great, has a hearty appetite and it playing and I am so excited for him..  Dr Mc was worried about him or worried about sending him home because he hadn't used the potty since his surgery for her.. His surgery was Wednesday and I went up to the Pet Hospital Thursday and took him out and he went (both) for me, and then every time Dr. Mc took Bruizer out he never would go. So she was concerned.  I finally told her he needs to come home and be in his own environment!  He came home Saturday and what do ya know, He went potty not long after he got home!!!  He was just uncomfortable!!!  :-)  I am so happy my lil boy is doing good and getting better. His incision looks great and he is getting stronger every day!  Now i just need to put some weight on him!  Hope everyone has a great day!!!

I'm so glad Bruiser is doing good!
Yes I can understand how he was feeling. He couldn't potty to order in a tense environment. He wanted to be at home and toilet in his own way! Totally understand.
Also tenderness at the site of his surgery could have had something to do with it. Surgery (obviously) affects the muscles, the nerves, the gut where he had the surgery must feel a little bruised. My dog was tentative about doing her number 2's as well, after her abdo. surgery. That's quite normal. So long as things get better not worse.

Anyway it sounds like Bruiser is doing just great! YAY BRUISER! Give us a big sloppy kiss!
