Lhasa Apso ear infection

Hi there,
I have a Lhasa 2yrs old named  ZOYI, she is very playful calm and adorable. how ever since couple of months she had developed an ear infection i think, she uesd scrath her ear every now n then, i went to vet and he only suggested me an antibiotic drop, but i feel it is not helping, her ear stinks very bad, vet said there may be water gone in her ear while giving her bath thats why this developed, i really don't know what to do any suggestions would be helpful

I checked my medicine cabinet and find our Vet prescribed Otomax drops for the ear infection.  He was also on antibiotic pills.

My discussion with a Westie breeder (our case) was that Otomax is the "go to" for ear problems.

Bad smelling ears suggest a yeast infection.  I think an antibiotic is the usual treatment for an "infection" not sure about for yeast infection specifically, .  There may also be a anti fungus medication that would help.

I'm sure others will provide better help.
