Looking for dog opthamologist

My scottish terrier has been diagnosed with mature cataracts in both eyes and needs surgery. I'm looking for an opthamologist that doesn't try to overcharge you. Anyone with information in the NYC area, please contact me.

I havent heard about surgery for this but my dog had the same problem qnd the vet said he was almost blind,but he bumped into anything and he had it for years,and my other dog ended up fully blind and she also got around very well.how old is your dog?You could probably look it up on the net or ask a vet for a recommendation.
