Marley & Me

I see that the movie "Marley & Me" starts showing on Dec. 25 in theaters.  If you haven't read the book, READ IT!  It's the best dog story I've ever read - and it's true.  I give fair warning though: you WILL cry at the end.  I loaned my copy of the book out to dog lovers and to a man (yes, most were men) they ALL cried at the end.  It's the typical story of dog ownership.  All the ups and downs, aggravations, joy, laughter, and loss at the end are included.  

I honestly don't know if I dare attempt seeing this film in a theater since I know I'll be a blubbering mess at the end.  Hubby thinks we need to go over the holidays and swears he won't get emotional.  Ha!  I saw that wet face when he read the book!

Anyone planning on seeing the movie?

I read the book and cried!!! I don't think I am going to see the movie. Once I read a book and then see the movie, I get disappointed! I loved the book so much that I am going to pass on the film.

Oh yeah. And I HATE crying over books or films! I usually only cry over onions!

I LOVED this book, and can't wait to see the film! But I never go to see films, because I live in the middle of nowhere, and it would take all day & all night to get there & back! Can't be having that! Hope it will come on TV in not too distant future.
