My dog has a swollen head and neck. The first vet visit thought she had a insect bite and gave her antibotics and benydrel. A week and a half later the vet now thinks she may have a lynthnoic problem. She is a twelve year old pit bull. She still has a good attitude,wants to play and eat. She's haveing no other problems.

Your vet's first guess was a logical one - I'd think the same thing myself.  Did the swelling show up suddenly?  Did they do any other testing this week?  Unfortunately, I have only more questions than answers for you, and that's probably what your vet is faced with as well.  Look for more testing in the near future before you get any concrete answers.  The good news is that your dog is still behaving normally, so I'll cross my paws that it's nothing too serious.  :-)
