My dog is throwing up blood

I have a 3 year old female Pomeranian. She weighs 7 lbs. I had her spayed a year ago. She has always been a healthy dog. She eats Vet Hill Science Diet Small Bites adult dry food. She never eats human food. She has 1 greenie a day for her teeth. For the past two days she has been throwing up this green looking stuff. It almost looks like foam or bubbles. This morning she did something I have never seen her do. She got up and started making this sound like crying and she started to drag her bottom across the floor but her bottom was not all the way on the floor. She was acting like something was after or on her. Then thats when she stopped and started throwing up but this time it was more watery and clear but had the blood in with it.She stays in a room with 2 gates so she has not gotton to any chemicals or poisions. She is not around any other dogs. She is up to date on all her shots. She takes a monthly worm pill, Interceptor. I just gave her the Interceptor 11-14-08. Do you know what could be making her sick?
Thank you,
SasTurner

WOW that's a lot of greenies!  you may remember about a year ago Greenies were sued by people who lost their dogs from that product!!  Probably why she is throwing up "green stuff".  If she is not impacted with greenies, or worse (GI puncture) you'll be lucky.  STOP the greenies.  SEE your vet for good physical exam and perhaps x-rays as Tom Cat says. BRUSH her teeth.  It is SO much safer to simply brush your pet's teeth than giving them something that is very hard on their stomach and intestines.

Good morning...I am sorry to hear that your pup is feeling poorly.   Anytime you see blood in the vomit it is a good idea to go see your veterinarian.   Think back over the past 3-4 days to try and remember if she could have gotten into any trash or anything in her room.   Even things like carpet fibers, clothing, etc can cause obstructions and even tears in the GI tract.

She really needs an exam and an xray ASAP!!
