Not a ? - a continued joy

My little dogs just get healthier and livelier since they've been off the Pet-Tabs - it's like they're puppies again!  I'd about forgotten how much they loved attention and cuddling and what beautiful, bright personalities they had before the lethargy from the bad vitamins set in.  I wish there was a way to tell the world about what PetTabs did to them.  To think I was giving them something to help them and it was destroying them instead, for so many years.

I am really glad that they are so much better. It's scary, isn't it? That we could give them something which is meant to help them, and it makes them sick.

That is great.... never heard of them but they sound like valium ! took one once never again as in a muddled fuddled world why were they on them in the first place ??????

I was moved by the thought that it was the responsible thing to give the dogs vitamins.  I take them myself, but then I have a notoriously bad diet! :/  A fact I'm in the process of changing.  

PetTabs had been around for a long time, I thought they were the safest way to go.  And, in fact, everything was okay for years.  These modern times being what they are it would not surprise me to find out that they were bought out by a larger company which then butchered the formula as a cost-saving measure.  Isn't that the normal thing these days?  

If I should decide to give them vitamins again I will do much research before deciding which ones!  It's my understanding that Computer Labs did the assay on the Pet Tabs revealing the lead content.  Unfortunately there does not seem to be anyone routinely doing this for pet products.  After the salmonella debacle with the vitamin supplements provided to so many pet food/treat manufacturers by United Pet I'm afraid to trust anything commercial made for pets!

You will not have to give vitamins if you are feeding them properly.They are like us... a good balenced diet is all that is needed.

You can see how they act and look if they are feeling well.I just put some garlic in thier food sometimes and they love it.Also brewers yeast in powder form for the B.group only if needed.Say getting over an illness all natural.
