Our Stafford Terrier Pit - Old Age or Something Else

Beginning of May we took our 12 year old Stafford Terrier Pit to the vet to have a small growth removed from her bottom lower front tooth.  The growth had been there for a year and never got bigger and didn't bother her other than it didn't like right.  About two - three weeks after the growth removal, Daisy has seem to become an old dog fast. It's like she had a stroke or something on one side, she walks sideways and into walls, hangs her head primary on one side... It just weird and we can't figure out what happened.  She still is able to eat, drink and go to the bathroom - it's just sad to see her try to walk or when she does walk sideways and run into things?  Any help  with her diganois is appreciated.

This could be neurological, and it does sound like it probably is. Because these things have come right on top of surgery, even minor surgery, it could be connected with the anaesthetic. It could be a mini-stroke.

But, things like this, causing loss of balance and co-ordination can also be caused by an ear infection. What does your vet say?
I'd rule that out first. Ear troubles, even a bad mite attack, can cause some pretty dramatic symptoms sometimes.

The one good thing is that she seems normal and quite happy in other respects.

Talk to your vet, or take her back in for them to take a look at her.
