Portosystemic Shunt - What can I cook to help my puppy?

Please, i need help! My dog was diagnosed with Portosystemic shunt, murmur, and also has crystals (Ammonium Biurate Crystals). This all happened this last Monday when i noticed his abdomen kinda big and that he was kinda sluggish. He is on meds already.. He seems to be the same way as he was in the beginning of this week: excessive sleeping and lethargy, pacing and aimless wandering, etc. He doesn't eat at all; he is on low-protein diet (U/D). Oh, he also haven't gone to the bathroom - he is taking Lactulose. I was searching today and find this herb called Milk Thistle ( i already ordered). Would like to know if someone can help me and tell me and give me some ideas on what to cook for him, so i can try to see if he eats. Thanks, i really appreciate your comments in advance.
