If there is a specific spot where she pees, just cover it with the training pad.  Hopefully she will pee in the same spot.  As the time goes by, move the pad slowly to the desired area.

my new puppy doesn't like to pee where he is supposed to either. And when they say dogs wont pee where they sleep well he will.i can take him out and everything and he will still come in and five minutes later pee inside.

My Yorkie uses pads. What I did is after every time she eats I would put on the pads that I kept in the bathroom. For a while I would shut the door so she would potty. Then I praised her. If your puppy has a accident on the floor or if you she it starting to potting put it right away on the pads. soon they will catch on. Now my dog only uses the pads. Unless she has a upset stomach then I have to watch her. I' not sure why that is.

Housebreaking a puppy needs vigilance and perseverence on the part of the owner. This is housebreaking - the shortened version!!!

Its a good thing to  develop a "pee" word for the puppy. Most people use "go pee!". When the puppy is doing its business, use the phrase that you decide  on (the shorter the better). the second  the dog is finished,  praise the dog and give it a treat.  After the dog has peed or pooped, you should wait another 5 - 10 minutes outside with the dog to see if it wants to go again. Sometimes they will.  Then you can bring the dog inside.  Keeping a very young puppy in a crate or a fenced off area in the house where you can keep an eye on it is essential.  Puppies always want to go to the toilet on waking, after playing, after getting excited, after eating, after drinking. Small puppies should be taken outside every hour for the opportunity to relieve themselves. Once the puppy realises what the "pee" word means, you can get your dog to go and do its business when you wish it to. If you need to go out or take the dog out in the car, its very useful to be able to get your dog to go when you ask it to.

It is essential that you DON'T  scold the puppy for having an accident. After all, you wouldn't scold a baby for having done so.  If you do that, the puppy only learns that he must do his business somewhere else where he can't be seen and then you  have a situation where the puppy will sneak off to another room. If the puppy has an accident, its the owner's fault for not being careful and watching the pup.  If you catch the puppy peeing or pooping in the house, then distract the puppy immediately and take it outside. Don't yell at it or frighten it.  Clean up the mess without the puppy seeing you do it and use a product that removes the odor.  There is a brand here in Canada called "Nature's Miracle" which really works. If you don't, the smell will remain and the pup will think its OK to go there.

I board people's dogs on my home and I am amazed at the number of dogs that have no "pee" word.  It's the first thing I teach them, no matter how old they are. They catch on very quickly!
