Potty training

by summerland, Jun 07, 2007 04:02PM
I am having a hard time potty trining my puppy. I got him about three weeks ago. He barks and lets me know when he has to go poop so I take him out then. I also take him out after a nap, after playing, after he eats, or just usually every 2 hours. But he still ends up peeing in the house with no warning. He eats puppy pads so I can't use those. I don't know what else to do. I need some help. Why does he warn me when he needs to do poop but not when he needs to go pee? Any suggestions? Thank you!!!

If he is still pretty young it is hard for them to hold it in. He must had learned to tell you only when he has to poop and has not learned to with peeing. Just be pacient and he should catch up. We just got a little puppy and i take him out after he wakes up. Just rewared him when he gose outside. He will catch on soon. Mine still pees in the house as well. It will just take some time. I hope everything works out for ya.
