Puppy not eating!

My puppy is a 9 month old lhasa apso. He has stopped eating all of a sudden. He won't eat out of my hand or anything. He also threw up earlier. It was a yellow liquid. I don't know what I should do. Is it serious enough to take him to the vet?

I would take him, our puppy got Parvo a few months ago, and she wouldn't even eat steak so we knew something was wrong and took her to the vet and she did have parvo and she survived.  We had to  leave her there for a few days and they had to put her on an IV.

My dog had Parvo as a puppy, also. Don't waste any time. Get her to the vet right away so they can get her taken care of her.

Now he's acting like he usually does. He started eating again last night and his energy is fine. He's running around and playing. His stool hasn't been runny or anything and his urinating is as usual. Could it have been something he ate? Like a bug, leaf, etc...?

Who knows?  You'll likely never find out what made him sick, but at least he appears to have recovered.  The yellow liquid is just bile from having an empty stomach.  Glad to hear he's OK now!

he might have just had an upset stomache. my older dog gets upset tummy from time to time. usually he eats some grass ,throws up and is fine and back to himself. you might wanna still take him to the vet just to make sure.
