Question re Aluminum Hydroxide and kidney failure in dog

Where can I purchase Aluminum Hydroxide (ALOH) for my dog who has kidney failure, and do I use this instead of Epakitin and Azodyl, or along with it?

Your vet should be able to help you find it.  If not, check with the vets here at Med Help.  The forum is "Animal Health - General" and these products were discussed there not too long ago.  Did your vet tell you what stage of kidney failure your dog is in?  If it's early enough, diet change and ALOH can really help extend the dog's life.
