Senior dog won't sleep

Sophia, our 15-year-old border collie rarely sleeps through the night. She will  jump down off the bed several times during the night and bark to go outside. It's leaving my wife and me sleep deprived and frustrated. We have had various medications prescribed by the vet. The problem with that is, she won't eat much either and it's difficult p, therefore, to get pills into her.  I'm wondering if there is any sort of medication that can be delivered to a dog subcutaneously or through injections?

Fpr simple restlessness, you could certainly try a homoeopathic remedy. Humans often disdain them, but I have seen them work on animals over and over again.
What is her normal sleep routine? Does she spend the day sleeping? In which case she may understandably be restless at night.
When she barks to go out in the night, is she desperate to pee?
Does she have an actual diagnosed health problem? Such as kidney failure or heart failure or anything else?
What are her medications for?

If you decide to use a homoeopathic remedy for her night time restlessness, it will not interfere with drugs the vet gives her, so there is no worry there.

The best thing (I think) you can do to get her medications down her is to crush the tablets into very fine powder and then mix them with honey or maple syrup. Stir the mixture and leave it for a good few minutes, even 30 minutes, to make sure the tablets dissolve well into the syrup. She may accept that very well, or you could spread it on a very small piece of brown bread. Try that!
