Shocking results from Pet Food testing

I recently found this article to support her statements, its disgusting what they put in our pets foods.....a link within this article goes on the say 'the most nutritious pet food is when you make it up yourself with quality ingredients and natural supplements' I encourage all pet owners to read.

These findings are horrific. I was really shocked that such toxic ingredients were at such high levels in petfoods. URANIUM! For heaven's sake! ARSENIC??
This is a good site, and I was glad to see the 'click-throughs' to good healthy petfoods in all areas of the US.
It was a pity that the UK was not included. I will try to find info. about similar for UK.

Those findings made me sick.  This is so wrong, almost criminal.  Poor babies.

It makes me wonder how this stuff gets into the food in the first place? Is it as a result of processing methods? Is it from contact with toxic substances -such as what might be used to "clean" and make those slaughterhouse floor scraps odor-free? What is it?

I'm just glad I found a decent quality dry food I can trust for my dog a few years ago.
Plus I cook fresh meat (human-grade) for her to add to it...and bake my own dog cookies. She never has store-bought food or treats ANY MORE!
