It 's sweet of you Ghilly, to say that. Course I do. I love my girlie!
The thing is about dogs, they can't talk. They can't tell us what they feel. So it's up to us to do the thinking.
I don't blame you for being concerned. You wouldn't be a good dogmom if you didn't at least wonder about it. :) If more people took care of their dogs the way you take care of yours the dog world would be a much happier place!

Thanks Ghilly! That figures! It's just started to cool down a little here, but mostly at night and the days are very sunny and warm yet.
Her bloodwork was wide-spectrum, and included extra things that the vet said were optional, such as screening for Addisons etc. But here was I worrying there might be something somewhere which the bloodwork hadn't picked up.
Ginger, it might be that the weather is warm and she's not getting ready to grow her winter coat yet that's keeping it growing so slowly. I have had dogs (and cats) that seemed to grow back shaved patches in what seemed like a week, and others seemed like they would NEVER grow back, and then one day suddenly it was growing back like crazy. As long as her bloodwork and all was normal I wouldn't worry about it, especially since it's still basically warm weather. My guess is that within a few weeks you'll notice dramatic hair growth because the weather will start to cool off.

By the way, the rest of her coat is absolutely healthy, shiny, and fine. And her thyroid hormones are in the 'normal' range.
