Our male lab was nutored when he was very young, before 1 year old. He is attracted to Male Dogs, Every 3-4 months he acts like he is in heat and mounts our younger male Lab. What is his problem? and How do we fix it?
Your dog is not demonstrating sexual behavior, he is only trying to dominate your younger dog.
This is a normal behavior but should not be encouraged because you do not want him to display that kind of behavior towards you.
Whenever he does it try to get his attention with a treat or his favorite toy and show him how happy you are that he leaves your puppy alone. He will quickly learn that this kind of behavior is not as rewarding.
