TYLENOL OR ASPIRIN??

I have an older Lab mix. I think she has a touch of the old bones. I need to know if I can give her tylenol or aspirin? Can I give her a analgesic that has a sleep aid in it? Tylenol P.M.?? She seems okay, she is eating, wagging her tail. She had the shakes earlier like she was cold. She would shiver, stop, shiver, stop etc.....She seems a little restless. She is drinking water, too.

Homeopathy would be a better choice for the older animal, since Rhus Tox can give wonderful results for these symptoms

I'm sorry to jump in here because this is the vet's page really...
But no, don't give her Tylenol!
Aspirin is ok for very short periods of time and only if you know for certain she does not have either an allergy to aspirin, or stomach problems. But it is not good to keep giving aspirin for any length of time.
Go to the vet, get a diagnosis, and a safe painkiller for dogs. She won't be sleeping well if she's in pain, but don't be tempted to give her any human meds for this.
If you discover arthritis is her problem, start her immediately on Glucosamine and Chondroitin supplements. Sometimes that can work remarkably well for "old bones".
