Toy Fox Back ache

My Suki Lou is a Toy Fox Terrier weighing 5.5  lbs. She all of a sudden yelps if you rub the hair on her back the wrong way. Still jumps and plays as usuall but even the blankets make her cry. Any one ,any suggestions? Vet appointment Feb 16 for a spay.

Hello,,,,
It was a staph infection of the skin,, when her hair was rubbed the wrong way it POKED her tender sore skin. Gosh what a relief. couple shots and pills for ten days and she will be Fine. Thank you

I cant give you any medical answers, but if that was my pup i would be in the clinic SO fast... It could be something to do with the spine and i definitly wouldnt wait until her surgery... as a matter of fact, i would think that if she is in that much pain, they may not perform the surgery until this issue is resolved.

If she is in chronic pain, the 16th is a VERY long way away to be diagnosed and It's definitly in your advantage to know sooner rather then later what the problem is.
