Vet or no vet?

Okay, well I have a dog, he is seven years old. Last night when I came home he acted sick, he wasn't interested in eating or drinking. When I took him outside he started to eat grass. When I took him inside he acted lethargic, and acted like he was in some pain. Several hours later he jumped oof the bed and ate a treat, drank some water and was acting fine. This morning I made an appointment for five oclock today because he still wasn't eating. He has ate a little so far, but still doesn't seem that interested in food. He is drinking water and is acting alright, he was playing earlier. So should I stll take him to the vets today, or wait and see if it persist? Could it just be his stomach upset? Thanks in advance.

Maybe this will help. On Monday my 7 year old girl, Sadie, got sick. She was vomiting, wouldn't eat, wouldn't get up. Tuesday she started to limp and seemed to be in alot of pain. On Wednesday we took her to the vet only to find out she has lyme disease. They gave her three shots and three prescriptions and as soon as Thursday night, she was acting like a puppy again. Hope this helps you out.

I personally would go ahead and take him......Only because it's the weekend and you otherwise would have to visit an Emergency Clinic if he gets worse.....Let us know what you find out.......Good luck, Karla
