We rescued a pup loaded....

We rescued a 6 wk pup, mix pup w/dashound ^ Chihuahua, he was loaded with 80 or more fleas...it was such a severe case,,,,got him all cleaned up, put a collar, gave him a pig ear, feed her little belly, and she's off to her new home...she got an emergency vet visit for a huge discounted rate...
She was jumping around and flippin and she would actually sit for you,,,,she was the best little thing...and just as happy as she could be w/herself all fixed and her new family....
I was so very grateful I got to help this puppy and have placement....just wanted to share my wonderful experience today...

Wow!  What a wonderful story.  I am so glad to hear a happy story for a change.  You are definitely an angel!!!

Yea, it does feel good...sometimes its harder than this last one...takes longer to repair the damage and find placement...it can pull on those heart strings...but every once in awhile, I get lucky and things go just a little smoother...
But, what I enjoy the most...is these rescues seem to know...they have this inner strength and happiness...we you get em well...they just shine!!!! They are so faithful and appreciative...some rescues have so much damage done to em...its a huge challenge to get em emotionally stable...
But, I try....if only I was billionaire,,,,LOL...I would have a huge rescue farm...but, hubby and I are working our way there for retirement, and I'll probably have that farm...

wtg , your a blessing, i found a baby kitten it was very sick about 5 weeks old eyues stuck together and it could not breath good, took it to mt vet had its eye and lungs  looked at , eye was infected and lungs were full of mucus, dr fixed her right up and now she has a great home to. makes you feel great to save a little life.
