What Type of Poison ? :=((
A healthy dog died suddenly on Saturday evening. On that day, Mom and dad played and run with Cookie (the dog) in the morning. Everything was great.
It started when Cookie vomit. He vomited a big amount. Then Cookie did not want to ran as much. Parents and Cookie went home for lunch. Cookie did not eat anything after the vomiting. Parents did not suspect anything. Cookie did not complain at all. The dad touched Cookie’s nose and realized something was wrong. They took Cookie to ER, but too late.
Cookie died about 10 hours after the vomiting.
The parents think Cookie ate something at the park and got poisoned. Possible nerve system damage, heart failure, or other organ damages. No headache, diarrhea, heart attack, anxiety, impatience or struggle. His physical strength, heart rate, breathing rate got weaker and weaker. Did not respond to revitalization procedures. Cookie died peacefully.
Cookie and his parents are from China.
The question: Exactly what type of poison? What is the name of the compound?

I am so sorry for the loss of your dog. Unless a necropsy and/or toxicology were done, just no way to tell fir sure what caused this. Could have been some undiagnosed condition the dog had. Certainly could have been something the dog ingested. Going back to the area may give you some clue and maybe not. I know it is hard not knowing for sure what caused your dog to be sick and did but sometimes there are just no answers. :-(
I have no knowledge of poison affects, but I understand rat/mouse poison is in fact a blood thinner that causes uncontrolled bleeding, sounds like that was not the case with Cookie. I believe Rat poison is the most widely and some times loosely used.
Have you looked up the symptoms of arsenic - not sure how that could end up laying around in a park. Typing, maybe arsenic is what is in rat poison.
Spoiled food doesn't seem likely given the fast action and the inability of a vetrenary to stop the action.
You mention China, is that were the loss took place, or was it somewhere else (USA)? My experience is limited to USA.
