How do you know that the Vets are no good, if you just moved to the area?

You are waiting too long!!!  Your girl is in distress & needs help.....Please, do not wait any longer....Call any Vet in your area (NOW) and get her seen today.....She only has YOU to get her the help she needs......If this is a blockage & this is day 4, she will be dead by tomorrow! You must seek treatment immediately!

Let us know what you find out......I hope she makes it!     Karla

Sorry, I thought she had diarhea ....your comment  " she now has diarrhoea".............(this is the runs...)

So, now she is constipated?  Assuming she had the runs to begin with and now she is plugged up, I would suspect blockage....which is very serious. If untreated, she could develop infection in her bowel and lose her life. You just can't be too careful here. Just moved....well, you need to find a vet in your area asap as your baby could die if this is blockage.

It's odd, but with blockage, the liquid gets out easily, it seeps out around the solid mass,  but the solid can't move. This is typical of the problem. Please find a vet today and have her seen.

2 things I know of that will help a dogs stools is canned pumpkin (NOT the pie filling but the real canned pumpkin) and canned green beans. They are both high fiber foods. Give her her preference. Get to the vet.

call a vet and get her in as soon as possible....my dog had the same problem...we were sleeping one day and she sleeps at the foot of my bed with me and my fiance and i guess she went to pass gas and pooed on herself and my bed...she was very scared and so were we...we cleaned her up and tryed to take her out before she went again but she didnt make it she went all over my kitchen floor non stop for about 30 mins...right when she stopped we cleaned her took her to a 24 hour vet (it was 3 in the morning) and she had a very bad stomach virus...they gave us special food n meds for her n within 2 days she was fine....maybe thats all ur pup has a simple virus that can be fixed wit med....did you feed her anything different before she started feeling sick...maybe she could have got into the garbage or something without your knowledge...i hope its something simple...keep me posted hope all turns out well for u and your baby :-)

Call the vet and make an appointment.

For the next 24 hours, withhold all food. Offer only clean water and make sure she has access to it. (want to avoid dehydration)

After 24 hours, boil boneless, skinless chicken breast (chicken breast like this is considered bland and very easy to digest. There is little chicken fat. So it won't upset her tummy). Boil WHITE rice, this is also very bland and easily digested.

Start her on a small amount at first. If she holds this down without problem, give her a little more in about an hour. Repeat but don't give her more that she usually eats. If she usually has one cup of food twice a day, then give her the same in boiled rice. Cut the chicken up and add a few cubes of that too. Add some broth. This should help slow down the runny stools. The rice will absorb the liquid.

This is what I do as it was recommended by my vet for the same problem. All 4 of mine went thru this a few days apart. I think it might be the dog flu but I am just a dog lover like you.

Have the vet check her out. Check out her gums, as they should be bubble gum pink. If they aren't, there is a more serious problem and you need to get her to vet asap.

Good luck and I hope this helps you :)

OK I think she needs to see the vet. As she's been sick for 2 days now, it is a sign that this isn't just a mild tummy upset. The real danger with her right now is dehydration. Even if she's drinking water it won't be doing her much good as all her fluids will be lost through the vomiting and diarrhea.
I can't tell you exactly what this is. It might be an infection that needs antibiotics....or it might be that she ate something which has really upset her.

I would get her to the vet, because dehydration could already have set in, and she may need IV fluids, and only the vet can do that.
Don't try and make her eat anything, but you could try giving her very very small amounts of water. Any big gulps, and it could make the vomiting worse. You could add a little honey to the water just to give her some strength. But be aware that even if she does get some water down, the chance is the diarrhea will stil be dehydrating her.

I hope she is better very soon.
