blood and clots in 10 yr old toy poodle

all of sudden our 10 yr old toy poodle  had 2 clear vomit and bloody stool with clots what can be it.......

My dog didn't make it out of recovery and the vet to me he die of a blood clot to the lungs. I am mad at my vet because he never told me that could be a factor. They just told me I had to have my dog leg removed because he had a large mass. My Jr was ten years old and I loved him very much. I beg the vet to see my dog after surgery they said no because dog are unpredictable ;I know my dog would never hurt me and maybe if he would of heard my voice . He might still be here with me.

...she had vomitted too and the entire stool was blood and clots ..... they put her on drip last night ......... looks like HGE .......... I AM WORRIED

Blood in stools can be a number of things, from parasites to infection. Please, get your poodle to a vet ASAP,so a feces sample can be tested, to determine the cause. This WILL NOT clear up on its own...It will only get worse.....The sooner you treat, the easier and better the outcome will be....Good luck and keep us posted......Karla
