blood in stool

hello, i have a 13 year old female pug she has copd and has been taking meds for maybbe 3 years. lately she is having diarrea (diarrhea) all the time and having trouble walking and today we noticed blood in her stool could you please tell me how to help her shes my baby thanks

You need to take her to see her vet ASAP.  Blood in the stool, especially after having diarrhea for a long time, isn't always a cause for alarm, but the other symptoms combined WITH the blood in the stool definitely make this an emergency case.  She may be having trouble walking because she is dehydrated from the constant diarrhea.  The blood could mean that her  intestinal tract is just very irritated from the constant diarrhea or it could be a sign of something much more serious.  You need to have the vet do a fecal sample to see what is going on with that diarrhea.  A fecal examination will tell them if the diarrhea is due to a bacteria or a virus or whether it is a symptom of some other problem.  Don't wait.  Thirteen is a senior dog no matter what breed you're talking about and a senior dog cannot bounce back from things like this way a younger dog can.  If she's your baby, then you need to give her every advantage and get her to the vet NOW.  At this point, I wouldn't even wait until tomorrow because IF the walking trouble is due to dehydration, by tomorrow the problem could be MUCH more serious or even fatal.  Don't take any chances.  Please let us know what the vet says.
