brachial plexus ???

by passionkimo, Dec 27, 2008 08:47PM
Hi,

I have a 9 year old siberian husky and she had a car accident 7 years ago and as a result she has brachial plexus.

Today she has problems getting up and when she does put pressure on that injured leg and shoulder she cries out of pain. Everytime she gets up and moves she cries, her appetite also decrease and she just drinks.

Could it be arthritis pain?

I don't know enough about this. Maybe someone else does. But old wounds can cause arthritis in the nearest joints years after. Pain will stop a dog eating. If she's crying out, it must be bad pain. The vet might prescribe an anti-inflammatory.
