A 19 year old Pom...that's fantastic!!  My Pom also lived to be about 18 or 19 years old!

If you haven't already, a trip to the veterinarian is needed.   As our dogs age, it is easier for small problems to turn into big issues.   Give your veterinarian a call and set up a time for a good physical, bloodwork and maybe xrays.

You can also post this question in our Ask A Vet Expert forum.   The veterinarians there might be able to offer some advice on keeping your little guy comfortable.
